What the calories on our plans mean
Every plan shows a calorie range per day. Here is how to read it — and what it does not cover.

Each size on our plans shows a range, such as 800–1,000 kcal a day. It is there so you can pick the plan that fits your goal without counting every meal yourself.
It is the meals we deliver
The range covers the meals in your box for the day — not drinks, snacks you buy yourself, or anything else you eat. Add those on top. A range rather than one number is honest: dishes rotate through the week, and no two days are exactly alike.
Why Weight Loss and Maintain differ
Weight Loss sizes sit lower so the day's meals leave room to lose weight gradually. Maintain sizes sit higher, for people who want to eat well without losing weight. The three-meal size of each plan is higher than the two-meal size, because it is more food.
Your own needs come first
How many calories you need depends on your body, age and how active you are. Treat the plan as a well-balanced base and adjust around it — and if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or follow a programme from a dietitian or doctor, follow their advice first.
General information, not medical advice. If you have a health condition, talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian before changing how you eat or train.
